QUICK AND EASY BLACKBERRY COBBLER.

i took the boys for a walk yesterday and i noticed that the blackberries in the field are just about all dried up with the almost 100 degree temperatures we’ve been having.  i figured i better go ahead and share my blackberry cobbler that i made for father’s day a few weeks ago.

QUICK AND EASY BLACKBERRY COBBLER

here’s whatcha need:

8 tablespoons butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 quarts washed blackberries

here’s whatcha do:

1. mix butter, flour, sugar, and milk with beaters.
2. place in the bottom of a 9×9 pan and top with berries.
3. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

that is it y’all! this is the easiest summer dessert. it’s really good fresh out of the oven… warm and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. mmm.
