FROM THE HILL AT HOPEWELL »

being a mama to a toddler and a newborn, it’s often hard to have free hands.  soon after vincent was born, my mother gave me a ring sling.  it has been soo wonderful.  vincent loves to be close to me, and i love to be close to him.  i am able to fold laundry and fix lunch… all while he is happy and content.  i saw that i was really enjoying my ring sling, so i got a couple of baby wraps.  although they are different than the ring slings, i like the baby wraps just as well.  the wraps do take a little more time, though, to put on and get situated.. and wrap. there are tons of different ways to wrap and wear your baby, but for now we like the front carry position — facing out and in.  recently, we were all outside working around the house and vincent loved being out there with us.  he was all smiles!

i’ll have to say… this sweet one is quite fond of baby-wearing, and his mama is becoming a big fan too!
