SPRING SALE IN THE SHOP!

happy saturday y’all!

hope you are having a great weekend so far.  i am on my second cup of coffee this morning, (yay!) because it has been one of those weeks. you know, the kind of week where everybody has been up all night, every night.  yes it has, oh yes it has.  anyway, today i plan on doing some laundry, a little cleaning up around here, and keeping my eyes and ears tuned to the local weather. there’s supposed to be some strong storms rolling in sometime this afternoon and tonight.  nooooo!  so, it looks like our saturday is going to be spent indoors, keeping ourselves busy, and hopefully getting over these allergies/colds/sinus infections/or whatever it is (junk!) that we all have.

NOW OFFERING…

happy monday, friends!  we have had lots of interest lately with annie sloan chalk paint in our shop. soooo, we are happy to announce that we are now offering pieces in our shop painted in annie sloan chalk paint!  annie sloan carries a beautiful variety of designer colors.  the colors can also be combined or applied as two different tones and distressed to create beautiful subtle shades of pretty.

we just added this vintage shabby chic style bookcase to our shop today.  joe built it out of all pine, and it is solid and sturdy.  the custom feet and vintage ornate pull add so much charm to this piece.  we used a mixture of two different annie sloan chalk paint colors… and i think that it turned out just darling.  head over to our shop and take a peek at this adorable new piece!

TRAIN TABLE FUN.

happy monday morning!  hope your morning is off to a good start.  i am drinking my morning coffee, nursing vincent, and about to go through some fall and winter clothes we brought down from the attic yesterday.  it was a little chilly early this morning on the hill, but it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day.  it was a nice comfortable weekend, too.   we spent alot of time outside playing on the porch.  grayson has been into all things choo-choo lately, so we thought a train table would be a really neat thing to have… and even neater for joe to make it for him.  over the weekend, we got it all set up with the tracks and trains and railroad signs… aaaand there’s even a bus!  he has had tons of fun with it.  the train table is just the perfect height for him.  even vincent has enjoyed playing along too!  our new train table has been such a hit at our house, we decided to put one in our shop. christmas is just around the corner y’all, and it would make a super-duper gift if you know of any little boys that like trains.  go take a peek.  more new stuff coming to our shop soon!
