it has been raining raining raining here, for days and days.  finally we woke up today to a brightly shining sun!  i saw these pretty little wildflowers all along the side of the road on my way home from the bus stop this morning, so spring must be right around the corner!  i don’t know about you, but i am definitely ready for spring.  we are ready to get outside and enjoy some pretty country sunsets, fresh air, longer days, and lots of fun.

hey y’all!  i can’t believe the month of july is almost over.  that means that over half the year is gone already!  i come here tonight looking for a few awesome blog sponsors. i don’t want to clutter up my blog with a bunch of meaningless junky-looking ads, but i would like to carefully choose some sponsors for the blog that are a good fit.  if i don’t believe in the company, blog, or product, then i’m not going to advertise it.  it’s as simple as that.  if i wouldn’t purchase it (or read it) myself, then you won’t see it here.  what i’m wanting are some awesome people that stand behind amazing products!  i love our simple little life from the hill at hopewell… and i love sharing some of it here with you!  i plan on sharing more… more of our home, the farm, food, recipes, real life, photos, and fun!
